John has been a part of our NoCoast community for 4 years now and, in that time, he’s not only dramatically changed his life but has had a huge affect on us and our community (make sure to read his quotes below). John has a ton of energy and he brings it every time he steps in the gym; his peers love him and he always puts a smile on our face. Our Black Track Athletes have been working hard this summer on Coach Ian's Gymnastic program. Gymnastic skills practice is tough and a lot of times overlooked because it's hard to scale these movements to make practice effective - unlike weightlifting movements, we can't grab an empty barbell or PVC to practice a high volume of the movement at light loads.
