Congratulations, Chris! You are our April Athlete of the Month!!!

Chris has been a NoCoaster since the Fall of 2014. His goals are a little different than most, in that our CrossFit program is helping him avoid open heart surgery from a defect he’s had since birth. NoCoasters, we are starting a new 3 month Black Track Strength cycle next week (April 6th). Normally the BT Strength programming is reserved for those that have gone through the BT application process, but while we're all at home, everyone has the opportunity to jump on our next cycle. We will be focusing on developing our gymnastics strength!

Congratulations, Frank! You are our June Athlete of the Month!!!

Frank has been at NoCoast for two and a half years. Since he's joined us, Frank has dealt with a shoulder issue that's limited him from a lot of overhead work within our program. This week is the start of a new Black Track Strength cycle. We are adopting a hybrid version of the Westside Barbell Strength program that we've done the past few years in the spring.

Westside is traditionally a powerlifting program, designed to improve your 1 rep max lifts in the back squat, deadlift, and bench press; this is accomplished through heavy days, speed days, and accessory work.

With the New Years just around the corner, we're gearing up for our annual New Years Nutrition Challenges! As always, we have 2 options for nutrition challenges...

Clean Challenge - This is a Whole 30 based challenge were we learn and practice the basics of whole food nutrition, what to eat, and what not to eat.

Performance Challenge - This is a Performance based challenge were we will learn how the quality and quantity of your food affects your performance through the use of the Zone Diet. We will also track other health markers like sleep, hydration, supplements, training, and mobility.
