ABOUT MARY FINCK, PT, DPT, CBIS
Mary is a licensed physical therapist and has been CrossFitting since 2008. She grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico very active participating in track in field & basketball in high school and college. Mary got her degree in Kinesiology & Leisure Science from Whittier College, and Doctor of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. She has been training as a CrossFit athlete for several years as a competitor, during pregnancy, and after child birth and believes this approach to fitness is truly unique and offers a solid foundation for a healthy lifestyle. Mary has coached many mobility clinics focusing on injury prevention, soft tissue & joint mobilization techniques. As a therapist, she has experience with a variety of different patient populations including orthopedic & musculoskeletal injuries, vestibular rehab/post-concussion syndrome, and neurological dysfunction. She is also a Certified Brain Injury Specialist and has a passion for helping people who have suffered a brain injury.

Physical Therapy Treatment Session

Saturdays by appointment only.
Includes movement screen, evaluation of injury, manual therapy (dry needling, scraping, cupping, and/or joint mobilizations).
Exercise prescription for home management.
A physical therapy evaluation looks at the entire kinematic chain, proper muscle activation & localized joint range of motion restriction to help identify areas that can hinder CrossFit performance. Based on the findings, clients will be given tools, techniques and mobility exercises to improve areas of restriction.

NoCoast offers group physical therapy classes for a variety of individuals with various disabilities. The classes are created based on the clients’ abilities and can be modified for people of all ages and functional levels. This program encourages movement adaptations & guidance for individuals to make functional gains in the following areas: strength, coordination, cardiovascular endurance, balance, range of motion & overall self-confidence.
