Live a Longer, Healthier, Stronger Life
At NoCoast, we believe wholeheartedly in the CrossFit methodology. We believe that responsible class sizes, great coaching, and the support of a loving community will bring out the best in every individual. Our program is specifically designed to improve fitness and health over the course of our lifetime.
CrossFit is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual, regardless of experience. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change the program. The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind.
We don’t intend on having you invest in us without a guarantee that we will invest in you. We are passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. We want to provide a place where you will thrive.
The best way do that is to provide the support you need in our gym. Quality coaching is imperative to quality results.
That is why we limit our class sizes to 14 per class.
Not only will you be coached in every class, the community will deliver fun, accountability, and camaraderie.
With this kind of commitment to each other, coach to athlete, athlete to coach, and athlete to athlete,
the physical, mental, and spiritual changes you will experience will be very powerful.
What is expected of you:
-Sign up for each class no later than one hour before class
-Show up to classes you sign up for
(It's that easy!)
What you can expect:
-To be coached
-To experience a strong support system with athletes and coach
-To see gains in your performance quickly and consistently
For folks who have just graduated from our Beginners Course.
This is also our rehabilitative track, for people recovering from injury or severe range of motion problems.
The mainstream use for CrossFit-improving general fitness. This is where 95% of CrossFit athletes play. The user's intention is to get fitter, and live a longer, healthier, stronger life.
For experienced or elite athletes, we provide extra programming to improve strength, skill, and conditioning.
The sky is the limit for anyone who needs more of a challenge!
These athletes are required to fill out an application.
Good coaching not only allows everyone to become a better athlete, but also keeps them safe and injury free. This is why we don't over program volume; allowing our coaches time to coach and athletes time to learn. This puts everyone in the best place to succeed, day in and day out. Expanding on this idea, we want to provide opportunities for athletes to dig deeper into movements and practice without the time and loading constraint we see on a daily basis during class. Therefore, our addition of Specialty Classes has allowed our coaches and athletes to immerse themselves in a much slower, less stressed environment to coach/learn these high skill movements and gain a higher level of confidence!
Every Saturday at 10:00am. We alternate between Olympic Weightlifting, Gymnastics, Mobility, Core, Endurance, and Nutrition.
Our focus is on the technical execution of the snatch, clean & jerk, and related lifts. A large portion of each class is spent working on skills and drills to help improve positioning and movement for these lifts.
This class is designed to allow our athletes the opportunity to learn and practice body weight movements in a more focused setting. Movements are broken down into manageable progressions and developed at a slower pace, dependent upon the individual.
Learning how to do basic maintenance on yourself is important in staying pain and injury free. In this class we teach joint and muscle mobility strategies to put you in the best positions for your workouts and life.
Functional movements are defined by their core to extremity principle. Learning how to engage your core, as well as strengthen all angles of your core is important in maintaining safe positions as well as creating more powerful and efficient movements.
In this class we teach the technical aspects of running, rowing, biking, and jump rope, as well as exploring pacing and breathing techniques. The carryover not only makes your a more efficient athlete in the gym, but in your outdoor life as well.
What we eat (or don't eat) arguably has the biggest impact on our health and fitness. In this class we explore the core values of nutrition and strategies to practice good nutrition in our day to day lives.
If you are working toward a specific goal, or desire individual coaching, we offer Private and Small Group Coaching.
Your program will begin with a complete assessment of your current physical capabilities, history, and goals. Your coach will evaluate movement patterns, range of motion, strength levels, structural balance, and any limitations. Your coach will also work with you to determine your training goals and priorities. This information lays the groundwork for developing your training program.
